I remember hearing about this a few years back.
The Block Hotel is the worlds FIRST snowboarder Hotel created by professional snowboarder Marc Frank Montoya and Las Vegas Hotelier Liko S. Smith.
THE BLOCK is a modern day renaissance in high altitude accommodations. All of our rooms include items like cordless phones, CD players, game consoles, board pegs, bike hooks and free wireless access. All rooms have a hip, “no frills” look. Other amenities include free Gift Bags, Microwavable Popcorn, internet terminals, waxing/tuning services in the winter and rooftop hot tub.
I think might have to check this spot out this season if there are any vacancies.
H&M Friends and Family
Must be that season…Good ol’ H&M is hooking you up with a Friends and Family coupon. As if their prices were that high to begin with. Go save even more money next weekend Dec 7-9th.
Artful Dodger Payday
Someone just got paid. Iconix Brand Group and Jay-Z announced a joint venture between the two today. The two, Scion, llc, bought Artful Dodger for around $15 million. Iconix Brand Group recently bought Rocawear for a mere $204 million. For more info check out the press release.
Tigerade
Looks like Tiger Woods name won’t stop making money. Tiger just signed a $100 million deal with Gatorade. Tiger is the first athlete to sign an licensing deal with Gatorade and it’s his first sports drink endorsement. According to the press release his first drink, Gatorade Tiger, will drop March ’08 then a series of drinks after that.
