After the Rain
And this is why I don’t think I can leave So. California. A few hours after 3 days of rain you can still hop on your bike and enjoy the last of the weekend. You got street art, drum circle with a Super Friends drum set and of course the beach. Here are a few pics from my bike ride today where I reside, good ol’ Surf City Huntington Beach. Like any of you really care but here you go anyways.

Being in the T-Shirt world we use reflective ink for screen prints pretty frequently. I found this on bikecommuters.com. I know, I know this isn’t ink but this is pretty cool way to use reflective tape. Not sure if I would ruin my bike’s finish for this but you could be a little safer out there on the streets.

LightLane – Bike Safer At Night
If you read Engadget you probably ran into this one already. Here’s a concept that would actually have some use. If you ride your bike at night you all know how sketchy it is when cars are speeding right by you. Wondering if they see your little red tail light blinking away. Fixie Freaks

OK, so the homie Adam and Kevin started building and selling Vintage Fixed Gear Bikes. They’ve been cranking (no pun intened) these out like crazy. They even started a blog to showcase what they’ve done and what they have to sell. Check it out at http://fixiefreaks.wordpress.com/ and order one from them today.
IRO Cycle
I think it’s time for a new bike! I just built this fixie on IRO Cycle’s website. I was referred to them by Urban Daddy’s newletter. IRO Cycle’s site is pretty sick, all done in Flash. You can configure a bike from choosing the frame and components to your specifications all on their interactive bike builder. Now, should sell one of my mountain bikes or just go ahead and pick up an IRO Fixie? Decisions, decisions…
